Personal Profile

Dr. Patro is presently working as an associate professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune. He obtained his MTech in Materials Technology, IIT(BHU), erstwhile Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, followed by a PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay. Subsequently he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel for more than two years. His research interest include polymer composites, structure-property relationship in nanocomposites, layer-by-layer technique and polyurethane foam etc.
